Snow Pastes Late May Colorado 24 hours after 90 degrees heat

Memorial Day weekend just week but looks like Christmas in many parts of Colorado. A late winter storm dropped as much as 20 inches of snow in Centennial State.

  • 8 inches – Fountain

heavy snowfall also protected parts of Southern Wyoming where up up to 18 inches.

While some of the snowfall dragged on in Colorado on Saturday morning, many of accumulation ended like snow difficulty sticking due to the high angle of the sun at this time of year. Roads and travel weren’t hit hard because many of the snow has melted on asphalt surfaces.

The same front can bring strong and violent storms from Texas to Maine. on Saturday and from Virginia to Maine on Sunday till moving off East Coast.

Areas ahead of front, mostly along the East Coast, face record heat Saturday and possibly Sunday before it gets much cooler weather arrives early next week.
