Mushtaq Mahar removed as Chief of Police Sindh – Pakistan

Sindh government on Wednesday removed Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar as Inspector of Sindh general of police and posted Additional Inspector General Dr. Kamran Fazal as Acting Chief of Police of provinces.

According to the notice, Mahar, officer of the 22nd rank who was appointed Chief of Police of Sindh in February 2020, was ordered to report to the Institution.

In a separate notice from Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Sohail Rajput, Dr. Kamran Fazal, Officer 21st Grade, currently head of police training, was commissioned to conduct “acting of in post of Chief Inspector of Police, Sindh, Karachi until further notice.”
