The heads of the FBI and Cyber Infrastructure Security Agency told lawmakers that their agencies have thwarted recent efforts by Chinese government-linked hackers targeting critical U.S. infrastructure, warning that Beijing’s cyber infiltration efforts are escalating and poised to induce chaos if left unchecked.
