This former Oklahoma football coach has intercepted a Californian dream.

New USC Trojans football coach Lincoln Riley has just taken on an extravagant Los Angeles County mansion in the town of Palos Verdes Estates.

The 38-year-old man, who should be the highest paid college football coach of the season, bought the 13,000 square foot beachfront property for $17.2 million — $2.4 million below its asking price — Dirt reported for the first timebased on property records.

That’s quite a touchdown, but it’s still nothing compared to the $110 million long-term deal USC reportedly awarded him in November.

In addition to its sprawling square footage, spread across three acres of clifftop coastline, the home also boasts a host of decadent amenities.

The landscaped gardens include a tiered fountain, courtyard, swimming pool and outdoor kitchen with built-in BBQ.

The resort’s main house, officially named the Roessler Estate, is built in the Spanish Revival style. It was built in the 1920s for local sales manager Donald Lawyer before being completely renovated and expanded in the early 2000s. It was once the home of the city’s first mayor, Fred Roessler.
