For flights departing from the Russian Federation, Turkish Airlines tickets can be purchased by holders of Russian Visa and Mastercard bank cards at the local offices of the air carrier. Additionally, Turkish Airlines also accepts payment through its website with Union Pay cards.
“You can pay for our air tickets with cards of Russian banks, if the flight is operated from Russia – for this you need to contact the company’s office, payment will not go through the company’s website. If the flight is operated from Turkey or another country, then Russian cards will not work, Turkish or otherwise,” a source in the airline’s press service told RIA Novosti.
It is also possible to purchase the company’s tickets through various aggregator sites, although in some cases a fee charged by the site may be added to the price of the tickets.
