Culture Wars:
- California – A San Francisco middle school on Tuesday brought a drag queen named “Nicole Jizzington,” AKA “Nicki Jizz,” to perform for students in celebration of pride month. The drag queen danced on an outdoor stage while 11 to 13-year-old masked children cheered him on. The reaction of the children was like seeing a rock star and falling out when he took off his wig to reveal himself, an extremely disturbing reaction – see here.
- Pizza Hut is now featuring a book about “drag kids” as part of its “Book It!” reading incentive program for pre-kindergarten through 6th-grade children. The “Book It!” website features a book titled “Big Wig” and states that it is recommended for children ages four through nine.“Big Wig” is a picture book that “celebrates drag kids,” according to Simon & Schuster website description – see here.
- Ben & Jerry’s and the National Center for Transgender Equality have collaborated on a multi-state billboard campaign to support “transgender” children. The billboards are targeting four states: Florida, Texas, Georgia, and Virginia — all of which have passed legislation to protect girls’ sports or try to prevent gender change treatments and surgeries for minors – see here.
