Teenagers gunned down at after-prom party attended by hundreds: police

Three teenagers in Des Moines, Iowa, was wounded early Sunday morning after shooting at post-prom party- said the police.

The incident happened after fight broken out in a party that had at least 200 people in attendance when group of uninvited people arrived, according to local news WHO station13. A 17-year old woman and two 18-year old men received gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, according to WHO13. Police are investigating the shooting, but have not yet arrested anyone.

In a letter sent to parents, the main of Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Stephen Chapeau, reiterated that “we don’t believe that no one of injuries are life-threatening.”
