Netflix is rapidly expanding its roster of games for Android and iOS. The company is planning to add at least 100 titles by the end of this year. It has already bought a bunch of popular titles like Kentucky Route Zero, Oxenfree, Spiritfarer, Into the Breach, Moonlighter, Laya’s Horizon, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge along with some entire indie outfits like Night School Studio.
Amidst all of this, one game is claiming the spotlight. Storyteller is a much awaited game for indie fans and it is finally going to come on Android and iOS through Netflix. The Annapurna Interactive publication created by Daniel Benmergui will appear in the Netflix game library on September 26th 2023.

Storyteller is a game designed to accommodate your creativity. In this game, players write fresh narratives altering the lives, deaths, romances, and betrayals of medieval characters using comic book-style blocks. It packs a lot of amusing surprises for users and justly portrays the absurd process of creative writing. The game has been available on Switch and PC since March 23rd.
Creator Daniel Benmergui created a prototype of the game more than a decade ago. It won the Nuovo Award for Innovation at the Game Developers Conference in 2012. Benmergui stopped working on the game after that only to pick it up again years later. Thankfully, he found a publishing partner in Annapurna and now, Netflix has decided to add it to its library, so all’s well that ends well. A trailer for the game was published announcing new updates and the date of arrival on Netflix. The updated version of the game will be available to all Netflix subscribers for no additional cost.
