New Delhi. The South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship began on Sunday with a colorful program in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju termed it as an important moment in the sports history of Arunachal Pradesh.

South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship 2023 is going to be held in Itanagar from 14th to 17th May. Arunachal East Parliamentary Constituency MP Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the programme. More than 100 players from six countries- Bhutan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Nepal are participating in the championship.

Tweeting along with the pictures, Rijiju said it is a big moment in the sports history of Arunachal Pradesh. All the best young talents are competing in the South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship-2023 in Itanagar. He wishes all the players of the tournament all the best.

He said that table tennis is becoming increasingly popular in India. All our players are performing brilliantly in international competitions. The South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships began with a colorful performance in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
