The Saudi Ministry of Commerce said it has issued 189 iron export licenses since it began issuing export permits after specific conditions and requirements were met.
The ministry said that the total number of licenses issued from the beginning of this year to the end of April (4 months) amounted to 17 licenses for the export of pig iron.
The ministry said that the issuance of licenses took place after specific conditions and requirements were met in accordance with the organizational control of a ministerial committee formed from the ministries of trade, finance, energy, industry and minerals, environment, water and agriculture. in the Al-Ektisadiya newspaper.
And pointed out that the increase in the number of licenses issued indicates an increase in requests for the export of iron and, consequently, an increase in the number of companies wishing to obtain licenses.
