RUSSIAN aggression will push more countries to join Nato, the Chief of the Air Staff has predicted.
Sir Mike Wigston predicted that other nations would see the benefits of being a part of the 30-strong defensive alliance and more would be welcomed into the fold.

VladImir Putin’s aggression had transformed the security of the world for good, he added.
He told The Sun: “This is a realignment of NATO, of what NATO stands for, and who are members of NATO.
“Other countries now may well choose that their future is safer by applying to join NATO.”
Kosovo and Bosnia have already called to join just days after Russia’s invasion.

Ukraine is not a member of NATO but is being backed by the alliance and other countries – supplying them with weapons, training and other defence.
President Zelensky has said he is no longer pressing for NATO membership since the invasion began.
