PRESIDENT Zelensky weighed in on Wagner Group’s rebellion against Russia and Vladimir Putin as he claimed that Moscow “destroyed itself” for choosing the “path of evil.”
It comes as Yevgeny Prigozhin‘s mercenary group has turned against Vladimir Putin amid claims that Russia has been targeting Wagner soldiers after the criticism of resources in Bakhmut.
The Ukrainian President believes that “no lie can hide” how Russia has been using “propaganda” for a long time as he pointed out how Moscow now finds itself in a weak position.
Zelensky said: “Russia’s weakness is obvious. Full-scale weakness. And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our land, the more chaos, pain, and problems it will have for itself later.
“It is also obvious. Ukraine is able to protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos. We keep our resilience, unity and strength. All our commanders, all our soldiers know what to do. Glory to Ukraine!”
