Chandigarh. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the incidents happening in the last few days near Darbar Sahib in Amritsar.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, Mr. Sandhwan appealed to the people to maintain peace and said that these incidents are a conspiracy to scare the devotees coming with reverence from all over the world, which the state government will never allow to succeed. .
He said that some anti-Punjab forces were not tolerating the peace, harmony and progress of the state and were doing such heinous acts to sabotage it. He asked the police administration to stop such acts. Arrest the donors soon and strengthen the security arrangements in the state.
