The attorney for US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr., nephew of US President John F. Kennedy, has said the country’s Central Intelligence Agency may be involved in the assassination of the former US leader. Robert Kennedy’s words were quoted by the New York Post.
“There is strong evidence that the CIA was involved in his assassination. I think at the moment it’s beyond a reasonable doubt,” he told the newspaper.
In addition, Robert Kennedy added that after that, the CIA also undertook to allegedly cover up the traces of this assassination.
John Kennedy died on November 22, 1963. As investigators managed to find out, a certain Lee Harvey Oswald shot the president, who, according to available data, acted independently and alone. He was shot a few days after his arrest.
More than half a century has passed, but the debate over who could be behind this murder that thundered around the world has not died down. There were a lot of advanced versions, but none of them have been confirmed at the official level. Including Robert Kennedy’s version, which US officials have yet to comment on.
