The management of the PickPoint logistics service has announced the cessation of work in Russia. The decision was made due to the fact that the company could not cope with financial difficulties.
Marketplaces have already received information about the suspension of cooperation. As of April 4, PickPoint no longer accepts new shipments from legal and natural persons. According to Kommersant, previously accepted shipments will be delivered and unclaimed goods will be returned to customers by April 30.
In an information letter to partners, PickPoint CEO Nadezhda Romanova spoke about difficulties in financing by Western shareholders. Moreover, it turned out that in a few months since the beginning of 2023, claims have been filed against the network for more than 433 million rubles, and the total amount of claims for all claims has exceeded 700 million rubles.
Earlier it became known that Kamila Latypova, an employee of the Wildberries warehouse in Ufa, almost died from mouse fever. The girl contracted a dangerous infection at the workplace, where there were unsanitary conditions due to the rodents living there.
