Greater Manchester Police addressed independent complaints body after it was revealed that the officers had previously been involved in happening of three-year-old boy killed dog.
The child has died on The Sunday after what police called a “tragic, devastating incident” at the farm. property on Carr Lane, Milnrow, near Rochdale.
The boy was outside with number of dogs when attack took place. Around 13:15, an ambulance and the police were called, the boy was taken to the hospital, where he soon died.
Police said several dogs were subsequently detained. one it was humane destroyed.

Greater Manchester Police Assistant Chief Scott Green confirmed that there had been previous contact. He said: “A thorough investigation is currently underway to establish full the circumstances of this incident and review other incidents of note.
“In connection with the previous contact, the GMP professional standards department sends a request to the Independent Office. for Police behavior.”
The police continued to transport out investigation into property on Monday, with in area cordoned off off and officers guarding the entrance.
