A few minutes earlier, the court had heard that Mr. Arslan had mortally stabbed Mr. Burman and was on his way to meet Mr. Marsden.
Mr. Wilkinson can be seen pleading with Mr. Arslan drop knife, saying, “Now stand where you are. don’t go down there. put down the knife down now. put it down down”.
Mr. Arslan broke the gate to Mr. Marsden’s garden, with then the security camera shows mr marsden wrestling to him out of his home received eight stab wounds times – while Mr. Wilkinson hit him with wood.
Under police questioning, Mr. Marsden said that he just eat home from work and was preparing dinner when Mr. Arslan burst into his kitchen with knife and stabbed him.
He said, “I’ve been waiting for my son come home and heard big clap on Gates against in wall”.
He saw that Mr. Arslan “stumbled upon the grass and then entered our house”.
Mr Marsden added: “His eyes, I remember were really evil. There was such hatred in him. I immediately dropped what I was doing and ran to him shouting: out to get out.’”
After struggle between two men, Mr. Arslan lit a cigarette and left Mr. Marsden’s garden where he was again ran into Mr Wilkinson and other neighbors, now armed with golf clubs.
