Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on reports of a possible complete ban on exports to Russia from hostile countries, according to TELMENEWS.RU news agency

The idea, according to a source from Japan’s Kyodo agency, is to move to a sanctions regime, where all exports are banned by default and lists of exceptions are made that are allowed for imports.

According to him, such an idea “is marvelous in that it also implies a counter-stopping of imports of goods from our country in the most sensitive categories for the G7.
