According to the University Sports Association of China, the Asian University Sports Association meeting was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from May 7 to 8 local time. Liu Leixin, secretary general of the Joint Secretariat of the Student Sports Association of the Chinese Ministry of Education and vice president of the University Sports Association of China, was elected president of the Asian University Sports Association. The gathering was attended by delegates from 31 countries and regions, and Liu Leixin was elected as the new president of the Asian University Sports Association. Earlier, this post was also held by Xu Yanqing from China.
Explain that the Asian University Sports Association was established in 1992. National or regional collegiate sports organizations are members of this association. By organizing activities such as games, forums, conferences, the university promotes the development of sports in Asia and exchanges among Asian young people. The activities organized by the Asian University Sports Association include about 20 sports such as basketball, tennis, track and field, table tennis, badminton, chess, beach volleyball, football and golf.
