Jaipur. Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in the 52nd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Hyderabad needed 17 runs to win in the last over but Abdul Samad registered the match in Sunrisers’ account by hitting a six off the last ball of the match.
Chasing the target of 215 runs from Rajasthan, Hyderabad got off to a good start. Abhishek Sharma and Anmol Preet Singh shared a 51-run partnership for the first wicket. This pair was broken by Yajuvendra Chahal by dismissing Anmolpreet (33 runs). This was followed by a flamboyant partnership of 65 runs between Rahul Tripathi and Abhishek.
