Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has accused the United States of directing strikes on Hamas in Gaza. Khamenei stated that the US is an accomplice in the crimes being committed in Gaza, with American hands tainted by the blood of the oppressed. The US has moved two aircraft carriers into the Mediterranean to deter Iran and Hezbollah from getting involved in the conflict. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned Iran that the US would respond decisively to any attack by Tehran proxies.
