Netflix has teamed up with Harlan Coben for its eighth on-screen adaptation of one of his novels. “Fool Me Once,” is going to be an eight-part series with an intense storyline and stellar cast. Filming for the series has been concluded.
Netflix is introducing a major twist to Harlan Coben’s 2016 novel. It has changed the setting from the original USA to the UK. Viewers can expect eight gripping one-hour episodes that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
Netflix has a hit creative partnership with Harlan Coben. With successful adaptations like “The Stranger,” “Stay Close,” and “Safe,” no wonder there are more to come. Netflix already has more Coben projects in the pipeline, including “Myron Bolitar”, “Six Years”, and “Run Away.”
Danny Brocklehurst is leading the writing of “Fool Me Once.” He’s known for his work on popular series like “Brassic” and “Come Home.” His assistants include Charlotte Coben, Yemi Oyefuwa, Nina Metivier, and Tom Farrelly.

Directors David Moore and Nimer Rashed have assumed the responsibility of bringing Coben’s world to life. You’d know David Moore from “Outlander.” The producers are Nicola Shindler and Jessica Taylor, with Quay Street Productions handling the production side of things.
“Fool Me Once” has an impressive cast. Michelle Keegan is playing the lead role of Maya Stern. Joining her are Adeel Akhtar as Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce, Richard Armitage as Joe Burkett, and the iconic Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett. We’ll alse see Emmett J.Scanlan as Shane Tessier and Dino Fetscher as Marty McGreggor.
That’s not all. Netflix has confirmed the presence of Marcus Garvey as Eddie Walker, Natalie Anderson as Claire Walker, Natalia Kostrzewa as Izabella Godek, Adelle Leonce as Eva, and James Northcote in an as-yet-unrevealed role.
