Russian and Ukrainian air defense systems bring down Su-27, Mi-8, and 16 UAVs in crossfire

Moscow, June 3 – The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that during the past day, Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter, a Mi-8 military helicopter, 16 drones, two Storm Shadow missiles and 7 HIMARS missiles.
In addition, two Storm Shadow cruise missiles and seven HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, as well as 16 Ukrainian drones were intercepted in the DPR, LPR, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions during the day.
In total, 432 Ukrainian military aircraft, 236 helicopters, 4,452 unmanned aerial vehicles, 424 anti-aircraft missiles, 9,361 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,110 multiple launch missile systems combat vehicles, and 4,984 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 10,624 units of special military vehicles.
