Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Unit has arrested four terrorists during police operations based on intelligence information in eastern Punjab province.
A statement issued by the police stated that the four terrorists were arrested from Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala districts, and that they were planning to carry out terrorist acts.
He added that the detainees belonged to the terrorist organization “ISIS” and the banned “Taliban Pakistan”, noting that the security forces confiscated a quantity of weapons and explosives from their possession.
