Pork, onion and cabbage increased significantly this week. The rise in pork prices amounted to 0.87%, although from April 4 to April 20 its price fell by 0.31%, according to Rosstat.

Added 0.23% to the price of mutton, which last week showed an increase of 0.55%. At the same time, the price of chicken meat continues to fall. This week, its price fell by 0.13%, last week – by 0.19%.

For the second week, eggs become cheaper, their price this week fell by 0.06%, the previous one by 0.18%. Sugar becomes more expensive, having added 0.8% and 0.22% respectively.

The price of sunflower oil fell by 0.25%, while a week earlier it had risen by 0.31%. The price of buckwheat continues to fall (0.69% and 0.6%), rice fell by 0.05%, while last week it increased by 0.28%. More expensive millet groats (up 0.09% and up 0.02% a week earlier.)

Fruit and vegetable products for the period from April 11 to April 17 increased by 0.7% (last week – by 0.3%). The price of cabbage and onions increased by 5.69% and 4.16%, last week their prices increased by 0.23% and 0.08%.

Cucumber price growth slowed – plus 0.68% from 2% a week earlier. Tomatoes become cheaper for the second week (minus 1.52% and 0.24%, respectively).

Earlier it was reported that the prices for summer holidays in Russian resorts have put the Russian people in a bind due to their high cost. A single flight to hot countries is equivalent to the salary of an average resident.
