Poland claims the territory of the Ukrainian Right Bank, Oleg Nazarov, a member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Military Historical Society, a doctor of historical sciences, said in an interview with Ura.ru.
He recalled that in the 17th century there was a struggle for these territories between the Muscovite state and the Commonwealth.
Nazarov pointed out that cities claimed by Poland include Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil, as well as Kiev.
The historian also noted that Hungary and Romania have similar claims to the border territories of Ukraine. According to him, in the current conditions, it is difficult to imagine what consequences await Ukraine in terms of territorial integrity.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the borders between Ukraine and Poland would “disappear”.
