In Krasnodar, the concert of the performer of the hit “Dreamer” Yaroslav Evdokimov was canceled. Earlier, the Belarusian artist called Russia an ugly country and condemned the special military operation.

The artist’s performance was scheduled to take place on April 25 at the Kuban Cossack Choir’s Central Concert Hall. However, the site announced the return of tickets.

In 2019, Evdokimov spoke extremely negatively about Russia, condemning the actions of the authorities and President Vladimir Putin personally in Crimea and Donbass:

“And Russia must live like a European! Did you see how they beat the youngsters? Is this a normal country? I think it’s an ugly country, it’s terribly embarrassing!”

Earlier, songwriter Ilya Reznik commented on his colleagues’ decision to leave the country. According to the People’s Artist of Russia, many will probably regret their choice.
