US President Joe Biden has decided to cancel the state of emergency, which was introduced in America due to the coronavirus more than 3 years ago.
“The President has signed into law a bill that lifts the state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic,” the White House said in a statement.
This regime was introduced in the United States at the end of January 2020, it was valid until April 11, 2023. Previously, the United States Congress had received a message from the White House regarding the intention to extend it for one month. But the lawmakers decided otherwise – they immediately terminated the scheme. Biden had no choice but to sign the document.
Earlier, it was learned that Rospotrebnadzor has no plans to introduce additional restrictions in the country due to another coronavirus outbreak in China.
