Today, the Sun Al-Thanaya races started as part of the activities of the eighth and final local race in the purebred Arabian camel season competitions (2022-2023), which is organized by the Camel Racing Committee for ten consecutive days on the fields of Al-Sheehaniya, until next Monday, with a large participation of fans of this heritage sport.
The competitions of the two-way runs during the seventh day of the race were strong during the morning period, as 15 rounds were held for the age of the first-born and the two-legged (public runs) for a distance of eight kilometers, including 8 runs for the first-born, and 7 runs for the two-legged ones.
Al-Timasah Malak Salem Anzan Al-Nuaimi managed to win the title of the first main round of the Al-Bakkar Open, after she ranked first with a time of 12.57.30 minutes, while Hamloula Malak Saad Saeed Al-Marri came in second place with a time of 12.58.58 minutes, while she finished / Dhi Qar / King Nasser Abdullah Al-Misnad in third place with a time of 13.02.12 minutes.
Makram Malak Al-Khazaa Muhammad Al-Amiri won the title of the first main round of the Al-Qadaan Open, after occupying the first place with a time of 12.53.94 minutes, while “Deception” Malak Abdul-Hadi Hamad Al-Hajri won the second place with a time of 12.54.32 minutes, while Al-Ghazal came King Ahmed Ali Al-Alayli came in third place, with a time of 12.59.30 minutes.
While / Shabab / Malak Khamis Muhammad Al-Muraikhi topped the list of the best times during the day’s runs, after he won the title of the sixth round dedicated to the two-legged open, after recording a time of 12.47.64 minutes. Tomorrow, Saturday, the competitions of the eighth day of the eighth local race will be completed, as the runs of the first-born and the two-legged ones (open runs) continue, with 14 runs during the morning period, including 7 runs for the virgin two-legged and 4 runs for the two-legged ones.
