MISSOULA – Officials Speak series of fires near wye east of US Highway 93 is believed to be human.caused.

Fires really threatened homes in in area on Saturday evening.

Officials say homeowners have been notified, but there are no evacuation orders. in place and no homes had to be evacuated.

This is reported by the Frenchtown Rural Fire Department (FRFD). six small fires that started near railroad tracks burned 345 acres.

MISSOULA – According to latest update from the Frenchtown Rural Fire District (FRFD), crews are struggling with supposed six fires north and east of Wye.

FRFD notes that no homes evacuated, additional brigades arrived to extinguish the fires.

According to online map from the department of Montana of Natural Resources and Conservation, what is being called a ferret fire was reported shortly after 5:00 p.m., resulting in the burning of total of 200 worries.

MISSOULA – Homes in danger series of wildfires burn near wye west of Missoula.

Frenchtown Rural Fire District spokesman Mel Holtz says crews respond to four small fires in in area.

One fire estimated at about four acres, and one was about 10 acres of Saturday evening.

Fires are happening in en area between Indreland Road and Tucker Lane.

Missoula Rural Fire District, Arly and East Missoula fire departments were called to the scene, as well as the department of Montana of Natural Resources and Conservation and the US Forest Service.

Two helicopters are visible in in area. Holtz announced two additional single-engine air tankers were requested.
