Brit tourist, 34, dies in Magaluf after falling 50ft from the seventh floor of hotel in Majorca party resort

A British tourist has died in Spain after reportedly falling from the seventh floor of an hotel in Magaluf.

The 34-year-old man died instantly in the horror fall at the South Beach Hotel.

Police in the Mallorca party hotspot which has been so desperate to change its image are investigating the circumstances.

They are reported to be interviewing relatives and/or friends.

The incident happened around 8am this morning at a hotel in Notari Alemany street.

Reports in the Spanish press are suggesting the man might have been trying to balance on the rails of the hotel and slipped.

He fell more than 15 metres. The emergency services rushed to the scene, including an ambulance, police and the Civil Guard.


Doctors from a nearby medical centre also attended but were unable to revive the victim.

An autopsy is to be carried out in the next few hours on the deceased’s body.
