ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will consider the petition for arrest and cancellation of a diplomatic passport to fugitive convicted and supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif, ARY NEWS reported.
The application has been submitted in IHC Naeem Hyder who asked the court ensure arrest of Nawaz Sharif on his return to Pakistan. “Nawaz Sharif is a fugitive from justice, and therefore the authorities should to prohibit him from issuing a diplomatic passport,” the statement said.
petitioner making Nawaz Sharif, secretary internal and external affairs’ secretary as respondents in the case requested the Islamabad High Court to accept up business today and issue arrest warranty for commander-in-chief PML-N.
The IHC Registrar accepted the petition and formed bench for the hearing will be presided over by Chief Justice Athar Minallah. The proceedings will begin from Monday.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif instructed the Ministry of Interior issue diplomatic passport in former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Shehbaz Sharif after taking office of his office received a briefing from the diplomatic staff on the extradition of passport for the head of PML-N. Pakistan mission in London was sent to issue diplomatic passports in former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and former finance minister Ishak Dar.
However, the diplomatic staff stated that a diplomatic passport could only be issued to Nawaz Sharif and not to Ishak Dar. on to which Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif instructed issue ordinary Pakistani passport in Dar.

It can be noted that the passport of former prime minister was withdrawn on Feb 16, last year, who is an in London in connection with his treatment.
On October 7, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) issued a ruling. against in former prime minister in Links to Avenfield and Al-Aziziya. Through proclamationthe court demanded that the supreme leader of the PML-N surrender within 30 days avoid further unfavorable process.
