Imran Khan will continue to serve prime minister of pakistan see you soon of Acting Prime Minister under section 224-A(4) of Constitution, as per Presidential Notice Dr. Arif Alvi office.

Article 224(A) concerns with procedure of appointment of caretaker prime minister in case leader of in house and leader of the opposition disagrees on name of caretaker prime minister 224-A(4) says:

“The current Prime Minister and the current Chief Minister will continue to hold office see you of caretaker of the Prime Minister and caretaker of the Chief Minister as it may be.”

Previously in On the same day, the cabinet secretariat issued a notice stating that Imran Khan had “ceased to hold office of in prime minister of Pakistan with instant effect”.

However, in accordance with article 94 of of the Constitution, the President “may ask the Prime Minister to continue office until his successor enters office of Prime Minister”.

These development came after Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Kasim Suri banned distrust vote against Prime Minister Imran, ruling that this is part of of “foreign conspiracy” and in violation of Article 5 of A constitution that requires loyalty to the state.

When the opposition faltered in in face of Prime Minister Imran appeared in government’s move on moments later on television to announce that he advised the President dissolve NS and called on prepare citizens of the country for fresh elections.

Shortly thereafter, the president dissolved the lower house of Parliament under Article 58 of the constitution, which says:

“The President must dissolve National Assembly, if recommended prime minister; and the National Assembly, unless dissolved earlier, shall remain dissolved at the end of of forty eight hours after prime minister advised so.”
