1,600-year-old juniper tree discovered in Iran’s West Azarbaijan province

A 1,600-year-old juniper tree has been identified in the Zinehar forest reserve near Takab, West Azarbaijan Province, marking it as the oldest tree in the region in northwestern Iran.
